BNB Chain
Starting from February 15, 2022, Binance Smart Chain (BSC) officially changed its name to BNB Chain. This change is in preparation for a new era of MetaFi and its accompanying infrastructures. BNB Chain is an open source and community-driven ecosystem that built on a decentralized and permissionless environment. It has the same mission as the BSC’s: to provide the core infrastructure required for future public adoption.
DoraHacks
They are a global hackathon organizer and one of the most active Web3 developer communities. DoraHacks provides Web3-native toolkits to help developers around the world raise capital for their startups. Since 2021, more than 1,000 projects in the DoraHacks community have received over $12 million in funding and contributions from supporters around the world. Binance Labs, in particular, has made a strategic investment of up to $8 million USD in them with the goal of creating a more open source blockchain world.
BNB Chain and DoraHacks are now collaborating with Moniwar on an Applicant Demo that will take place tomorrow (March 11). Details of the Live session can be found here.
